It was SnOwInG.....

So when my body decided that it was time to get up at 3:30 this morning I was a little annoyed but then I was greeted with something a little magical.....yes you guessed it there was snow on the ground so it made being up early a little bit worth it....oh and the bowl of trix cereal haha
On other news I was inspired last night and now I am working on a game plan for my inspiration and I am really hoping it works out soon so that I may tell you about my inspiration.....it has something to do with a couple former high school teachers and a few of my alumni friends so keep tuned :)

Oh p.s. please keep praying for snow because this girl would really enjoy skiing soon!!

The Stockings were hung......

Oh my goodness it has been awhile....so much has happened recently. Friday I graduated from Boise State and it felt so good!!! I still can't believe that I am done...but then again I can haha. I still have that little feeling though inside that I am going to be late for class.
Oh  with graduation my Mom, Aunt Jolene, and Zac threw me a little after party (I helped bake but it was still fun haha, special shout out to them though they did an amazing job, my mom even got Boise State colored flowers for me and they were gorgeous!!!) and it was so fun to get together with family and friends. Thank you everyone who came it truly meant so much to me and thank you to everyone who has helped me the past five years and encouraged me to keep going when it was hard.
Anyways it feels so good!!! Some other things that have happened recently are we put up all of our Christmas decorations and we finished up all of our shopping last night!! Let the wrapping begin.
For my graduation Zac's parents and grandparents came up for it and it was awesome, it was so good to see them! We even celebrated a little Christmas with them because we will not be down there this year. So it was nice just to have a little Christmas together.
Oh and I finished my student teaching a little over a week ago and it was a bitter sweet day I got so attached to the little kiddos it was hard to say goodbye but I just kept telling myself I will see them again as I will be working part time in the school come January!
Well I better get to all the wrapping and until the next time enjoy a few pictures!

 Flowers from Botanica (Amazing)
My Dad and I at the last home game!
Cookies I made for my little Kinders
Education Friends!! Could not have done it with out them

P.s. Please pray for snow so I can go skiing haha

Decorations....

So I finally got around to putting up my decorations for fall and I love how they look with our newly arranged furniture.
I even got really crafty one day and I made some candy corn pillows. They were so easy and the best part is I made them for about $1.50 a piece, you can't beat that!!! Love LOVE

FaLl....

I usually am not a hug fan of Fall but for some reason this year I am loving it! I LOVE the colors and maybe it might be the scent of my new candle (sugared pecan)....but I am loving it. I know it has been awhile since the last post but a lot has been going on and we have been SUPER busy so when I get a little breather I will put up some new pictures...until then Happy Fall!

Club Championship

So this past weekend Zac and I played in the River Birch Club Championship...we both had a rough couple days but that just means we need to practice more and play in more tournaments. This was my first competitive tournament since high school.

Guess who was the Ladies Club Champion....That's right ME!

All of the Champions get invited to go and play in Sun Valley in September and I am so excited!

Goodbye Passat

So after a few months of weighing all of the pros and cons and after having a few conversations with our mechanic we decided that it was time to get rid of it.
So after searching the internet and looking at several cars we found our new one.....a Toyota 4Runner and we love it! If you ever need a car Dan Weibold Ford is great to work with!!

Reading

So I am not really the type that would just go and pick up a book to read it just to read but ever since I saw this book in the bookstore....before the movie was announced....I as intrigued by this book and always wanted to read it I just never really had the time.
Well I finally got the book and I seriously could not put it down I loved it so much so if you want a good book you should check it out!!

Table...

Zac's parents were so awesome when we moved to our new house they gave us one of their old tables and I loved it! The only thing is my brother in law Wyatt decided it would be pretty neat to write his name in it and the colors of the chairs did not really go with what we are going with.
So last summer it was my goal to redo the table.....well it's only a year later but I have finally redone the table with a lot of help from Zac.

We thought it would take maybe two days....it actually took almost 2 WEEKS by the time we got everything how we wanted it and in between our crazy work schedules. But I LOVE it!!!!

Two words....

LOVE HIM!!!!!

I am pretty sure Zac has finally come to the realization as to how much I love this man haha. I was so giddy the whole night and every time he would start singing another song I would go crazy.....oh man and the best part is he was just as fantastic as the first time I saw him a few years ago.
So if you ever have a chance to go see him...you need to do it. It is WORTH every penny.....I promise.

3 Years.....

Holy moly it has already been another year! I can't believe it. So this past year has been great...we have a few rough times but it was all worth it because we have had many blessings as well. So to keep with the tradition here are some things to look back at what we have done.

Zac got a new position with Zions
Zac coached football
I was the cheerleader
Went on a cruise to Mexico
Played in Cali for a few days
I did an internship with 4th graders
Threw a 25th anniversary party for my parents
Got ski passes and skied our little hearts out
I got a new job....Zac really loves my new job because he can play lots of golf
We golf a lot
Zac's brother got married we Love Chelsea!
We went on a few bike rides
Went to Utah a few times

I can't wait for this next year! We have so many things planned!

So for our anniversary we had a very low key day, I got Zac a new Utah shirt and a Utah sticker for the car and he loved them. He was so kind and is taking me to Michael Buble as I have mentioned before....I am so stoked. we both started our days by working for a few hours and then we went and played golf at BanBury. We then came home and played with our pups and later we went to dinner at PF Chang's with my Mom, Aunt Jolene, my cousin Jeremy (glad to have you home) and his very sweet girlfriend Jordan. At dinner they told our waiter who just happened to be one of Jeremy's good friends Chase that it was our anniversary and he brought us out a piece of delicious chocolate cake and they even wrote on the plate it was awesome!!! Thanks Chase for being an awesome waiter!

The Boys' Golf Day

I just had to post these pictures because they are too funny! The night before the golf outing they were giving Andrew a hard time and they kept asking him what he was going to wear. Wyatt, Jordan, and Zac all decided they would wear white shirts and khaki pants with white socks and a sweater over their shoulders. The even got Scott to wear a white shirt it was AWESOME!
The funny part is Andrew walked out of his apartment with a white shirt. Lets just say he ended up wearing a red shirt that day haha!

The Apartment

So I have been waiting for this day for a very long time haha. When Zac and I got married the siblings and cousins were so kind as to decorate our car on the inside and out and they left us with a beautiful MESS (I wont even go into what all they did but lets just say were were still finding stuff two years later) and I always told them that someday they are going to get married and they will just have to wait.

So Kylie, Casey, Courtney and myself snuck upstairs after the ceremony and found the key to Andrew and Chelsea's apartment. So on Saturday night we all went to target and got a few items to decorate their apartment.

On Sunday before Zac and I were to come back home we decided that we would go and buy the newlyweds some groceries so that they did not have to go to the store right away when they got home. My aunt did this for us and it was possibly one of the best presents ever!! Thank you Rausch Family!!

7.15.11

This was the day that Zac's little brother married his sweet fiance Chelsea. It was a beautiful day that started out with getting a pedicure followed by a really yummy "brunch" at Paradise cafe. If you have never eaten there you really need to try it because it is DELISH. When we got back home Zac's cousin Kylie was there cutting our other cousins hair and she was so kind to give my hair some much need attention haha! I love my hair thank you Kylie!!! After we just hung out and laid around waiting to get ready for the wedding.

Once we got to the reception center we went upstairs to go and see Chelsea and she was gorgeous! She truly looked like bell only she had a white dress love love! Then we went back downstairs and just hung out for a few minutes....and eventually we went outside and found our seats. After the beautiful ceremony it was time for the party to start!!!

It was so much fun to hang out with the cousins and dance! We said goodbye to the newlyweds and we went home and sat in the hot tub! It was a great day congrats Andrew and Chelsea!

The Cabin

So Zac has also talked about how he loved the cabin when he was younger and all of the fun things that they would do when they were there. So after about five years of hearing him talk about it we finally made it up to the cabin. Trisha and Zac were to cute they showed us the BIG swing and where the bear caves were and how they would hike to the water tower. It was so fun and the cabin is in a really pretty place and it over looks a beautiful lake!

The Aquarium

So on our first full day in Utah we met up with our good friend Ashley and her husband Jason and we went to the Sandy aquarium. It was really fun to just hang out and walk around, when we made it to the penguin exhibit they were sleeping and were very boring, the only thing that was funny about it is all of a sudden a stream of something came flying out of one of the penguins rear and it hit another penguin.
Anyways after the aquarium we went to dinner and had a great time catching up and getting to know Ashley's husband.
Thanks Ashley and Jason for hanging out with us it was a lot of fun!

What's a girl to do when the hubby is at work.......

Well if you know me very well you know that I can't stand to sit at home all day I need to always be on the move...so this only having one job has given me plenty of free time. I have caught up on the TV shows I watch and movies that I wanted to watch on Netflix. So yesterday was my first full day of nothing to really do. So I got inspired to redo my one wall that I have never really liked. Here is the before and after.....
(Sorry the pictures are not great the one frame is a brighter green then it is showing up)
I just took some frames that have been longing to come out of storage for almost three years and I put a little paint on them and I love LOVE love how it turned out.. This is just what my wall needed a little splash of color. Now we just need to go and get new pictures done so I can fill the frames!

Oh and what is a girl to to with textbooks that I could not sell back. SIMPLE you just recover them with cute scrapbook paper and make them a new decoration for your desk! This was so easy and now they are a decoration and not taking up space on my bookshelf!
love love

Time Flies

Holy cow it has been awhile since my last post haha. Things have been a little crazy around here the past two months.
To get started here is a little update;
  • So I started a new job at River Birch Golf Course and I absolutely love it.
  • I ended my internship with my 4th graders and it was kind of bitter sweet....I am going to miss working with my mentor teacher, she is an AMAZING teacher!
  • We went to the cabin to relax.
  • I finished my job with Eagle Mini
  • I have tons of free time now haha
  • My house is clean again
  • My flowers are all planted now I just have to weed and once that it is done I will post some pictures!
  • Went to Utah!
  • Went on a road trip with my friend Bri to our friend Brynn's wedding and she was absolutely GORGEOUS and her husband Nate is a PERFECT match for her!! love love
So it doesn't seem like much but when you are working two jobs and have an internship I had no free time which was good! So here are some things I get to look forward to for the summer.....Zac's cousin Alli is coming up this week to play in the regional soccer tournament...GO ALLI.....We are going to go play golf at Osprey Meadows on Tuesday with my Dad for Fathers Day, 4th of July, A week in Utah seeing friends and watching Andrew and Chelsea get MARRIED....it's crazy to me that it is almost July. Lets see what else OH i almost forgot our 3rd Anniversary and with that comes the best present ever I get to go see MICHAEL BUBLE!!!! I can not tell you how excited I am for this! Last but not least I get to relax before life gets crazy again haha. Oh and I promise I will be a lot better at posting!

23!

So this past Saturday I turned the big 23! It was a great birthday! It all started on Friday after Zac and I got off work, he asked where I wanted to go to dinner and I decided to go to Bonefish!!! Best choice ever haha, we had a lovely dinner and caught up on each others lives since we hardly see each other anymore....then he told me that I was going to get one present that night. When we finished dinner he told me that we needed to go to the store because we needed some groceries when I asked why he said because we are going to the cabin for the weekend. I was so excited he planned it all by himself and got it all arranged minus the grocery part.
After dinner he asked if I wanted to go and see a movie and I said sure....so we decided to go to Tangled...let me just say it is my new favorite movie at the moment...I know I am such a kid at heart but I laughed so hard at some of the things in it and the horse reminded me so much of little miss Annie! After the movie we went to the grocery store and loaded up on junk food. When we got home he gave me a cake that he made and then he decided to give me another present. it was......an IPAD!!!!! I was SO excited! I love my new little toy it is so FUN! Zac had talked to everyone and got them to go in on it with him! He is such a sneaky husband!
Saturday came and I went to work for a few hours when I got home Zac was already to go so we hit the road and went up to the cabin. It was so nice to get away and not have to do anything except for relax....even though I did get some homework done!
On Sunday we slept in and Zac made me coconut french toast and it was really good. After breakfast we went for a little swim and relax a little more. Later in the afternoon we decided to come home and then we went over to my parents house and we all went to Crab Shack and had crab and it was so GOOD!!! I can never get enough crab...I think I should move to the coast so I can have fresh crab all the time...well at least when it is in season. So at the Crab Shack if they find out it is your birthday they make you dance with them and I told my family to not say anything....well I should know better they told them and I had to get up and hold the salt and pepper shakers and shake my booty! Lovely I know. Then we went back to my parents house and had some cake and I got to open another present and they were these super cute flip flops!
Anyways it was a wonderful weekend! Thanks everyone for making it so special!!!
Special shout out to Mr. Zac!! You are an amazing husband! Thank you for making it a super special weekend!

Me shaking my booty!
Never a dull moment!
My mom made me a teapot cake!

He even bought me flowers :)

25th Anniversary Surprise Party!

This past Saturday I had a surprise open house for my parents! It was so much fun and I could not have done it without out my wonderful husband and two beautiful aunts (Jolene & Teresa) Thank you guys so much! I know my parents enjoyed every minute of it!
Okay so here is the story its actually kind of funny. So about a month and a half before the BIG day I decided to have a surprise open house and invite family and some close friends to help my parents celebrate their big day! So together with Jolene I created the invites and sent them out to the family! By the way they did a great job at keeping a secret :) Anyways back to the story so I had to tell my mom something so they would not plan anything. I came up with the excuse that I was going to have an open house on March 19, and I wanted them to come and just hang out! At first my mom was totally okay for it and then she started thinking about it and then the quizzing came all the time. She would ask me why that date so I had to be quick on my feet and say it was because Caley (I work with her) is going to have a baby and she wants to come and so I wanted to do it before she had the baby. Then she would keep asking me who all I invited and I said everybody from work and a few of our friends. She seemed to buy it for awhile and then the questions started to really come on so I got the brilliant idea to ask her to help me make the food haha.....she said okay and it totally threw her off our tracks.....it's kind of funny that she made some food for her own party.
Okay so the day arrives and I asked her if she reminded my Dad about the open house and she was like I thought you told him....which I never did because she said she would. So I talked to my Dad and he said we have lived here for 2 years and that he did not need to come to an open house plus basketball was on. So my quick thinking came in handy again I asked if Mom was close and he said kind of....I told him that he needed to keep this a secret that it was a party for him and mom. He said alright what time do we need to be there and that was that! So then later when they arrived to our house and people started to show up my Mom figured it out she was so surprised but she still had a little feeling it was for them haha. Then I later found out when they were driving over my Dad asked my Mom what kind of house warming present she got us....she looked at him weird and said I didn't get anything and so my Dad started to give her a bad time it was so funny.
The evening went fantastic and it was so good to see our family and catch up! I think I am going to have to throw another party just so we can all get together again soon!

Getting Fit

So about a month ago it hit me that I needed to start getting into shape again and start really working out. Since it was still pretty cold outside and I was just not feeling the whole P90x workouts I decided to just kind of play around with our Wii fit, so I tried the free running and I started out really light and only went for 10 minutes and I ran a WHOLE 1.2 miles without even taking a little break! This was huge for me and it felt so good. Everyday I would push myself a little farther and then eventually I made it up to 20 minutes of straight running. I even got Zac to start doing it with me :) Now I am up to 30 minutes and our average distance is 5.6 miles!!! I am so excited I can't even handle it and I feel great, and I have not had any arthritis pains the whole time....plus to all of this is I have lost 4 pounds which means I am closer to my ultimate goal!
Now Zac is thinking we need to start running for 40 minutes and he is giving me one more week at 30 minutes each time. We have even thought that once the weather starts getting a little nicer we are going to start running outside and we have decided that our long term goal to this is to be able to run a marathon!! I know it sounds crazy but I am excited for this new adventure! I think this weekend we are going to look at some different marathons and see which one we want to do.

Happy Birthday Dad!!!!

Today is my Dad's Birthday!!!!! Thank you for being the best Dad in the world I hope you have enjoyed your day of doing nothing except watching basketball!!!

Today...

So today I came home after work and the house was unusually quiet.....I went into the man cave and this is what I found......
