Happy Birthday To Me!!!

It's kind of hard to believe that I am already 22. It seems like when I was a kid the years seemed to go by so slow, but now its just like holy cow it's been a year its crazy how our perception of time changes as we get older. Anyways on with the birthday. First I woke up and Zac let me open my presents while I was still in bed haha he's the best. Then we met my mom for breakfast at my favorite place The Griddle....so good if you like coconut you have to have their Caribbean French Toast....it's pretty much amazing! Then Zac took me to get a much needed pedicure...thanks babe! Then we played outside in the beautiful weather with all three dogs, oh man was it kind of crazy at times haha. Then my daddy took me out to dinner, I had my favorite salmon sandwich with a mango sauce oh man is it delicious! Then we went back to my parentals house and had ice cream cake...so good...if you want to know a way to my heart just pick up an ice cream cake haha. My best friend Megan even came to have cake with me! It made me so happy to have her celebrate my birthday with me! Oh man how I am going to miss her while she is in Africa but I know she is going to have so much fun and do great work while she is there...Okay enough writing enjoy some of the pictures.

Happy Birthday to me.....Almost!

So over the weekend I got an early birthday present and I absolutely love it! I can't wait til it warms up and I can go outside and enjoy my new patio gazebo! I have always wanted one since we moved into our house but they are kind of spendy so I had to wait until the perfect time and of course when they were on sale and what better time then a week before my birthday?!
With this new present came a little assembly and it didn't start off so great for Zac. He was trying to open the box and of course they have those staples in them that are super duty. His hand slipped and managed to get caught on one and he got a pretty big deep cut. It was kind of funny though because if you know Zac at all he hates blood and stuff so when I came in to check on him he was on the couch and all he said to me was im going to pass out. He was so pale I had to kind of laugh to myself but I felt bad at the same time.

Another exciting note is that they posted my score for the first section of my Praxis II test and I passed so lets keep our fingers crossed I pass the second section!!!

Spring Break

This past week was our spring break so we decided that we needed a little get away so we went to Salt Lake. We had so much fun with Zac's family. The Gorringe house was a little crazy for the first few minutes after our little pups met their new cousin Toady! He is such a cute little dog and Annie pretty much thought that he was her little play toy. Friday we meet for lunch with our good friend Kesia...it was so good to catch up and for dessert we met up with my cousin John and his wife Hailey. It was so good to seem them oh man how we have missed spending time with them. We also fit in a little football on friday and freezed our booty's off in the cold wind but it was all worth it because it made Zac happy...oh how he loves his Utes! Saturday Zac and I went skiing at Brighton. It was an amazing day of skiing there was fresh powder and there was pretty much no body there which was amazing because we got in so many runs. Sunday we had planned to relax a little before we started the car ride home...but you know how it goes when you are wanting a relaxing day something always seems to happen and this time it was the dogs. They decided that they were mad at each other and they had a little hissy fit with each other and ended up hurting each other. Honey got her battle wound by her eye and Annie pretty much got the worse of the two. Honey managed to grab her leg and leave significant marks. We took them both to the vet today to make sure they were okay and they sent Annie home with a cone. She is so depressed and everytime you try to touch her or go close to her cone she growls...its kind of funny. But we did manage to have a great Easter dinner with the family and Benita was also able to come spend it with us which was fun!
