Holiday Baking

So as most of you probably already know I do all the baking and Zac does all the cooking......it works better that way because I am horrible and cooking and Zac is AMAZING!! Well our friends Meah and Logan challenged us to make a soup like Bonefish Grills it is lump crab and corn chowder......well my friends we have success and it took the two of us to figure it out.
Holy cow talk about lots of butter and cream oh yeah and time consuming haha....BUT it is soooo good!!!! So Meah and Logan you will now have to come over and try some :)

On another note school is over for yet another semester and if I do say so myself it was a LONG semester with lots of work but it is over and all that work paid off for 3 A's and a B+......now it's onto student teaching starting in January and I will finish student teaching next December YAY so excited I can see the light at the end of the tunnel and it feels amazing! Oh and Zac has kind of been considering a new major....graphic animation artist and I think that is the perfect major for him because he is an amazing artist!

P.S. we have 6 days till Christmas....which means 11 days until we go and visit sunny California...which then leads to....15 days until we start our cruise.....it could not have come at a better time! Thanks Mom and Dad Gorringe Love you!!

So be prepared for lots of pictures to come...oh and Ill post the pictures of the goodies I made :) until then enjoy!

Fall....

Wow I know I have been neglecting the blog but the school thing has caught up with me and keeps me super busy.....but dont you worry next semester I will start my professional year and I am sure that I will have tons of stories to share about the little kiddos in my class...haha but until then this is what we have been up to.
Zac was a football coach this year at Eagle Middle School for the heavy weights, he coached the quarterbacks and receivers for the varsity and was the head coach for JV. The varisty had an awesome season and the JV did fairly well.

I have been so over whelmed by homework lately and at the beginning of the semester I was working on my application so I could do my student teaching...which was such a relief when I turned it in I must say....and the good news is I got accepted!!! It is such a relief!!
Another exciting thing that has happened this fall is that Zac's younger brother got engaged....which is so exciting I am so excited to have another sister! Well sorry I have a lack of pictures I will try to be better from now on but until next time I hope all is well.

P.S. I only have two more months until I will be enjoying the California weather and then off on a cruise...

Update

So I have totally been neglecting the blog and I feel very bad but summer vacation got the best of it and we were on the go all the time....but now it is back to reality of school and having homework all the time...I know sad day.
So what have we been up to...well we made a couple trips down to Utah the first one was to visit because we had not been down there since Easter and it was awesome my little brother took us to this amazing Waffle house downtown Salt Lake and I think I might just have to make it part of the routine when we go down there from now on....oh my goodness it was amazing! Also while we were down there on that trip we celebrated Zac's grandparents 50th wedding anniversary and it was so much fun to see everybody and to meet new people! We then came home for a couple weeks and went to the farmers market a couple times and just hung out. Then we went back to Salt Lake to deliver my brother a "new car" I say this because it was new to him but it was actually my mom's old car he gets to now drive the looser cruiser as we like to call it haha. This was kind of a big weekend for me because my brother invited us to a frat party....which was my first time going to one...and he even showed me how to play beer pong....I know those of you who know me are thinking wow she actually played it..I did but I didn't drink I just made Ben drink for me haha I am such a nice sister and we lost but I did make the ball go into one cup.
This past weekend was awesome we went to the Starlight Mountain Theater on Saturday night to watch a play and I absolutely loved it and I am addicted and now want to go to their plays all the time now we had so much fun. Then on Sunday we went to the fair....can I just tell you how much I love the fair I love the animals and the food....oh gosh I am so lucky the food is somewhat expensive or else I would have ate a lot more fried food. This week Zac and I both started school and so far it has been pretty good I took a fairly light load of classes because the next two semesters I will be busy with an internship and student teaching. Well now that I am all caught up I will try super hard to keep updating and hopefully have more pictures.

2 Years....

It's so crazy how fast time flies when you are having fun....
Some of the things that we have done so far...
Went to Mexico
We got two puppies
Became homeowners
Bought a car
Gone to lots of football games
Seen lots of movies
Spent lots of time in the mountains
Went rafting
Went to California
Lost a job found a new one
It's crazy how many things we have done together so far and I am excited to see what is in store for us in the next year.
So here are a few things we did for our anniversary weekend.
I bought us new bikes to get the party started! We love them and we try to go on a ride everyday! On Friday we went on a ride then we went to the river to play with Honey and took her on a nice long walk followed by some much needed Cold Stone ice cream Yum!

Zac's bike got a flat so he rode my bike for the picture
Then Saturday rolled around and we went to the Eagle Market! We had so much fun looking at everything and Zac bought me this super cute watch!
Then we went downtown and had some lunch at flatbread...can we just say the mac and cheese is amazing! Then we came home and relaxed a little and then we went to the Boise Music Fest oh my goodness it was crazy how many people were there....we decided to sit on the other side of the pond in some shade and enjoy the great music by Macy Gray and of course my all time favorite band when I was in middle school BACKSTREET BOYS!!!! Yes I always wanted to go to one of their concerts when I was little but I had to wait until I was 22 and yes I was like a little girl when I heard them sing their first song!! Thanks Zac for putting up with me haha! Then we met our good friends for some ice cream...and you guessed it at Cold Stone..so good!
this is when we were at the park in between artists we got a little bored hehe
Sunday we woke up and I went to church and Zac stayed home cause "he had some things he needed to do" after church I had a great lunch with my mom, Aunt Jolene, Aunt JoAnn, and my cousin Angie at the Cheesecake Factory and it was delicious! Then I came home to a little surprise...there was a handmade card on the counter....which was orange and blue major brownie points...anyways and there was a bunch of fake money with a little price sheet of how I could spend my money! It was the best present ever and I will be spending my money very wisely haha! I am so thankful for having Zac in my life he means the world to me and is my best friend I cant wait to see what happens in the next 70 years!

Finally Enjoying Summer

Wow it has been a crazy busy summer so far! I had school for the first 8 weeks of it and it seemed as if I was on the go all the time and when I did have a little break I was doing homework...lesson learned don't take so many classes in the summer haha. Anyways our summer got off to a great start with Eagle Fun Days, my little brother came into town which was awesome to see him! Then we had a few weeks of just plain old school and work and then came the 4th of July weekend....it was so much fun Zac's family came up (minus Wyatt, Trisha, and Jordan, & Benita....really wish they could have come) but none the less we had an awesome weekend with the. Oh and the best part was the Gorringe's got to witness a true Idaho 4th a July! If you have not been to Crouch, ID on the 4th you must try it sometime because I can't even describe to you how crazy it gets! Some of the fun things we did was play some golf, go swimming, did a little rafting....and hung out and played games. This past weekend we went up to the cabin to enjoy the nice weather and to see my grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins and of course do a little swimming. Hopefully this weekend we will be up in the Stanley area enjoying the mountains. It has been so long since I have been there and I think Zac would really enjoy it so hopefully it all works out that we make it up there.....well sorry this is such a long post but at least you get to enjoy the pictures now.

(I Borrowed this from my cousins blog.. her picture was much better then mine :)

Happy Mothers Day to our two beautiful mothers! We love you guys so much, thank you for all that you have done for us! You truely make us feel blessed and loved!

As of lately...

Wow it has been so long since I have blogged so here is an update on our lives. First I had 3 major tests so that I can stay on track to become a teacher....which by the way I passed them all :) Now it is finals week so Zac and I have been studying a lot and turning in all our end of the semester projects. We also had some guests at our house this past weekend. Zac's cousin Alli had a soccer tournament up here in Boise and so alot of the family came up. It was so good to see everyone and Alli did great at her soccer games! One of the really fun things that we did while they were here is we had a P90X workout party. Oh my goodness we porbably looked really funny...sorry I didn't get any pictures. But here are a few of the pictures I did manage to get. Enjoy!

We all got cute new flip flops at Old Navy!

Andrew was not so excited to get his picture taken
P.S. I also got these cute chairs at a yard sale for a great deal all they needed was a little TLC and a little color. Here is the before and after!

Happy Birthday To Me!!!

It's kind of hard to believe that I am already 22. It seems like when I was a kid the years seemed to go by so slow, but now its just like holy cow it's been a year its crazy how our perception of time changes as we get older. Anyways on with the birthday. First I woke up and Zac let me open my presents while I was still in bed haha he's the best. Then we met my mom for breakfast at my favorite place The Griddle....so good if you like coconut you have to have their Caribbean French Toast....it's pretty much amazing! Then Zac took me to get a much needed pedicure...thanks babe! Then we played outside in the beautiful weather with all three dogs, oh man was it kind of crazy at times haha. Then my daddy took me out to dinner, I had my favorite salmon sandwich with a mango sauce oh man is it delicious! Then we went back to my parentals house and had ice cream cake...so good...if you want to know a way to my heart just pick up an ice cream cake haha. My best friend Megan even came to have cake with me! It made me so happy to have her celebrate my birthday with me! Oh man how I am going to miss her while she is in Africa but I know she is going to have so much fun and do great work while she is there...Okay enough writing enjoy some of the pictures.
